What is Circle of Elephants?

In the wild, an elephant mother in labor is surrounded by other females. They gather in a circle to protect her and the newborn from predators.  Some of these other female elephants take on the role of "midwife" and help the laboring mother by stroking her with their trunk and assisting with the baby after delivery.  They maintain this sphere until the new calf is born.

In America, we have pregnant women being attacked by predators during labor every day.  And they don't even know it! The medical field is committing injustice upon injustice to almost 100 percent of the women who walk into a hospital to give birth.  The purpose of this blog is to protect women from the medical injustices unknowingly pounced upon them during childbirth.

We can do this by arming pregnant women with the knowledge that was originally instilled upon them by God and carried out by tradition before the art of childbirth became a medical procedure.  We can do this by exposing the dangerous and unnecessary practices utilized by doctors for their own conveniences.

Have you been a victim of this injustice?  Have you had a baby born blue as a result of using Pitocin? Have you had an emergency cesarean as a result of an induction? Has your doctor made a mistake that brought about a worse outcome?  Join us on this journey to circle around our pregnant women and their babies!
